Joey T. Foundation

   I was honored to assist the Joey T. Foundation with the book design and layout.   

   Joe Toscano started the book For the Love of Camp to commemorate his lifelong   

   love of Incarnation Camp in CT. Before the book's completion, Joe tragically   

   lost his life in the line of duty as a firefighter in 2017.   

 

   In 2019 I was introduced to Joe's wife, Maureen, who organized the Joey T. Foundation   

   the year before to honor his legacy. She was interested in finishing his book to be   

   posthumously published and made available for purchase at the camp, with all   

   proceeds benefitting the Joey T. Foundation. Maureen provided the artwork and   

   the accompanying text and gave me the creative freedom to edit the photos   

   as needed and manage the book layout and cover design. One of my first   

   freelance opportunities, it was so meaningful to be trusted with such an   

   important and personal  project and to contribute to Joe's lasting legacy.
