Graphic Design
Over the past several years, I have provided a wide range of design services to clients in the Chicago area and beyond. This selection of original designs and event graphics, both from my current professional role and commissioned freelance work, showcase my multifaceted creativity and adaptability.

Thanksgiving Pie Giveaway
Graphic Design + Project Management
This project involved creating an original design for the certificate for the Dorger McCarthy group's annual client appreciation Thanksgiving pie giveaway. I've done the graphic design and project management for this event for several years, but 2021's campaign was my favorite to work on because I got to take the design in a completely different direction than the years prior. I love the vintage vibe and earth tone color scheme and took the opportunity to learn more about font manipulation so I could create the interlocking letters and lines of text.
Arvidson Wedding Suite
Graphic Design + Creative Consulting
I was delighted to assist Samantha & Mitch with designing custom graphics to help them commemorate their special day. I created their Save the Dates, invitations for Samantha's two bridal showers, and the wedding suite containing their invitations, RSVP cards, ceremony inserts, and rehearsal dinner invites.
An Afternoon at the Movies
Graphic Design + Event Planning
This event is one of my favorites because not only did I do all of the graphic design work, including the email and social media campaigns, but I also took the lead in planning the event. We rented out a theater at Chicago's historic Davis Theater and hosted a private screening of the film, E.T., followed by a happy hour in the adjoining Carbon Arc Bar.
From the planning, coordination, and budget management, to event set-up and day-of logistics, it was so fulfilling seeing everything come together in the end.
Long Boy Poster
Graphic Design
I designed this poster series in the likeness of my close friends' gorgeous dachshund, Franklin. I tried to pay homage to one of my favorite periods, the 1970s, by choosing a retro font, psychedelic patterns, and an earth tone color scheme that is an emblem of the time.
Brother Rice Water Polo
Graphic Design + Creative Consulting
Being a fellow Southsider, I was delighted when the coaches of Brother Rice High School's Water Polo team reached out to me to work on a project for them. They commissioned a new canvas design for their goals used at home games and practices. We did a creative consultation to discuss the project, and I did some additional research to ensure I met all of the school's branding guidelines. In the end, the coaches and the team were thrilled with the new designs.
STICO Mutual Flier
Graphic Design + Digital Marketing
I was referred to the STICO Mutual team by a past client. After the success of my first project for them, a flier for their table at the American Boiler's Manufacturing Association conference, they have reached out to commission additional projects - a trifold brochure and email campaigns - that are currently in the works.
Joey T. Foundation
Book Layout & Cover Design +Creative Consulting
I was honored to assist the Joey T. Foundation with the book design and layout. Joe Toscano started the book For the Love of Camp to commemorate his lifelong love of Incarnation Camp in CT. Before the book's completion, Joe tragically lost his life in the line of duty as a firefighter in 2017.
In 2019 I was introduced to Joe's wife, Maureen, who organized the Joey T. Foundation the year before to honor his legacy. She was interested in finishing his book to be posthumously published and made available for purchase at the camp, with all proceeds benefitting the Joey T. Foundation. Maureen provided the artwork and the accompanying text and gave me the creative freedom to edit the photos as needed and manage the book layout and cover design. One of my first freelance opportunities, it was so meaningful to be trusted with such an important and personal project and to contribute to Joe's lasting legacy.
